Seaglass Community Model Home Floor Plans
Seaglass Community Model Home Floor Plans Get an in depth look at the Sapphire, Seabreeze and Indigo Floor plans inside of the Seaglass Community Indigo Model Tour Floor Plan Our first model home that we're going to be touring today is the indigo model. Walking in the first thing that caught my eye was all of the shells and sea glass scattered around the landscaping. I think it adds a very nice personable touch and stays true to the community’s name. The standard indigo floorplan has three bedrooms 3 bathrooms, a den, and A 3 car garage. This floorplan has 2611 square feet under air. The base price of the indigo model will start at $1,762,990. I really like this floor plan because of its high ceilings, fantastic layout, and the customization options it has. I especially like the vaulted ceiling with the beams that you can add in the living room, And the waterfall quartz countertop in the kitchen. The LED under lighting in the kitchen is also a nice touch that gives the home some more character. The indigo floor plan will come in two different elevations their Bermuda elevation and the West Indies elevation. You can also get this indigo grand model which adds another 100 square feet or so and an extra bedroom the indigo grand model will start at $1,795,840 On their interactive floor plan, you can see all the different customization options that you have such as adding a fourth bedroom extending your garage extending dining area, merging his and her closets, and many other options as well. You can also play around with their furniture tool which allows you to place furniture to see how the layout would be and how much room you have, so you can really plan out your dream floor plan that fits perfectly for you. Seabreeze grande The next floor plan I'm taking you through is the least expensive model, and that’s the sea breeze Grande. The sea breeze Grande is a villa that comes with three bedrooms 3 bathrooms, and A 2 car garage. This floorplan has 2254 square feet under air. The base price for this floor plan is $1,290,990 From the outside you can barely tell that it is a villa and has a shared wall. They do a really good job of making it look like 1 nice big property instead of two separate villas. You have more limited customization options with this villa. Some of the customization options that are available include adding an extra 4th bedroom having a stacked laundry room and adding a Bay to the front bedroom. When you're inside the sea breeze Grande, it's very hard to believe that you are inside a villa because it's very big and spacious, the layout is fantastic, and it doesn't feel like you're compromising anywhere. The only time you can really tell it's a villa is when you're outside By the pool. The sea breeze Grande villas will not have an option when it comes to elevation the left side is always going to be Bermuda elevation and the right side is going to be the West Indies elevation. The Bermuda and the West Indies elevations are the only two elevations offered throughout the community. Sapphire Model Home The next model home I'm taking you through is the sapphire model the sapphire floor plan comes with three bedrooms 3 bathrooms plus a den it also comes with A2 car garage with This floor plan has 2629 square feet under air the base price for the sapphire model will be $1,788,990 this has to be my favorite of the three models. I love the curb appeal that it has, I absolutely love the flooring that they chose, and the pool area in my opion hasz the best layout of the 3 models we saw. The sapphire model will come in the same 2 elevations that's the last floor plans so you have the choice of the Bermuda or the West Indies elevation. There is the option to get the sapphire Grande, which does add another half bathroom a three-car garage and an extra 100 square feet or so. The sapphire Grande model is priced at $1,826,990 since this is a standalone home and not a villa like the sea breeze Grande you're going to have more customization options for the sapphire model such as adding a powder room to your patio adding a fourth bedroom, extending the garage forward, and extending your covered patio this floor plan feels a little bit more modern compared to the previous two floor plans and maybe that's why I like it it's very sleek, the colors pop and overall it's my favorite model that I walked through. Pros and Cons of Buying New Construction Home
Benefits of Buying a New Construction Home Should you buy new construction in Vero Beach or Sebastian Florida? So you're interested in new construction homes in either Vero Beach or Sebastian, well you've come to the right place. My name is Spencer Bailey and I'll be your local guide and real estate agent going over the benefits of owning a new construction home, tips for buying new construction homes here, as well as different communities that are currently building. Behind me is actually my home that is currently being built, that is right I'm a real estate agent that also bought a new construction home, and I'll go over why I ultimately chose to build a new home right here in the heart of Vero Beach. Benefits of Buying New Construction Starting off with a few benefits of buying a new construction home versus buying a resale home that has already been built. There are a few big benefits of buying a new construction home one of which is a lot of times if you use the lender associated with the builder you can get a lower interest rate. A lot of times builders will give you money towards buying down your down interest rate. For example on this home, if the interest rate was at 6% I could get a 5 1/2 percent interest rate with the money they give me from the buy down. If you're like me this is a big deal because even a half of percent can be hundreds of dollars off your mortgage payment. Another big benefit to buying a new construction home is most builders will pay for your closing costs which is roughly on average 2.3 percent of the total home purchase price. So let's say you were buying a home for 350,000. Closing costs would roughly be around $8000 that you would have to pay. I currently know Dr. Horton is contributing $8000 towards my closing costs which should pay for almost all of my closing costs associated with the home Im building. These numbers change often so by the time you're watching this video the numbers that they give you for the buy down on your interest rate and the numbers they gave you for closing costs may have changed so keep that in mind. Another big benefit of buying a new construction home would be that everything is brand new, it will be easier to sell in the future, and your insurance is going to be lower. Insurance is a huge problem for a lot of buyers and sellers down here on Florida’s East Coast so having a brand new home where you don't have to worry about insurance is a huge benefit. In addition Unlike resale homes, new construction offers the latest design trends, energy-efficient features, and modern amenities. So if you have the luxury of time, I would definitely look in to buying a new construction home rather than a resale. 5 Tips for Buying New Construction Now let's go over 5 tips that I have for you if you're considering buying a new construction home. Do thorough research: Take the time to research different builders, their reputations, and their track records. Look for testimonials and reviews from previous homebuyers to gauge their satisfaction with the builder's quality and customer service. Visit model homes: Touring model homes can give you a sense of the builder's craftsmanship, layout options, and available features. Pay attention to the quality of materials used and the overall design to ensure it aligns with your preferences. Understand the builder's warranty: Familiarize yourself with the builder's warranty and what it covers. Know the duration of coverage and any specific terms or conditions. A comprehensive warranty can provide peace of mind and protect you from potential issues after move-in. Get everything in writing: Ensure that all agreements, warranties, and changes to the standard features are documented in writing. This includes any customization requests, upgrades, or modifications you discuss with the builder. Clear communication and written documentation help avoid misunderstandings. Work with a specialized realtor: Partner with a realtor who has experience with new construction homes. They can guide you through the process, negotiate on your behalf, and ensure your interests are protected. They may also have insights into the local market and specific builders. Different Communities Now let's go over a few new construction communities in the vero beach area As well as a few scatter plot options. Scatter plot refers to a new construction home that is not in a new construction community. For example my house that I'm building in Vero Beach right now with Dr. Horton is a scatter plot home as it is in the Vero Beach Highlands which is a non HOA neighborhood. I didn't get a whole lot of options as far as furnishings and upgrades for my new construction home because it was a scatter plot. I know a lot of times if you build in communities they often order a lot more material where you have a lot more options to pick and choose your upgrades and furnishings. As for Sebastian new construction, most of that is going to be scatterplot since Sebastian Highlands makes up the majority of the residential area. Sebastian Highlands is a non HOA community and I believe currently Dr. Horton is building six or seven homes on scatterplot homes in Sebastian. There is going to be a new construction community coming to Sebastian very soon called blue water Bay. It is going to be very close to vero lake estates, and we should get more information on the community hopefully soon. if you have any questions or want to know a little bit more about a specific community feel free to reach out to me anytime and I would love to get that information over to you. By the time you're watching this a lot of things might have changed so like I said if you have any questions or want an update on the current new construction communities that are being built on florida's East Coast reach out to me anytime. I hope that gave you a better understanding of new construction here on florida's East Coast, I'm Spencer Bailey with Exp Realty and I will see you on the next video take care Spencer.Bailey507@gmail.com507-951-2934
The Best Neighborhoods in Sebastian, Florida
The Best Neighborhoods in Sebastian, Florida A first hand look at Sebastian River Landing, Collier Club, Sebastian Highlands, and more So you’re thinking about moving right here to Sebastian Florida and you want to know a little more about the neighborhoods and subdivision that make up Sebastian. Well in today’s post, I'm going to be showcasing some Subdivisions and neighborhoods giving you a first-hand look at what you can expect when buying a home in Sebastian FL. And make sure to stay till the end where I give you a little insight on why my MY family moved right here to Sebastian. Hey everyone, my name is Spencer bailey and I’m a local Real Estate Agent here in Sebastian Florida. If you are thinking about moving down here to Florida’s east coast or have a question about moving to Florida’s east coast, go ahead and give me a call text or email, id love to help you out, and maybe answer a few of your questions. But enough of that, lets get started taking a look at our first community Sebastian river landing OK so starting off with Sebastian River landing this is one of the bigger subdivisions that Sebastian has to offer with around 350 to 400 homes. It's not gigantic but like I said it is one of the bigger subdivisions in Sebastian. This community really to me feels perfect for a growing family you have a good mix of two-story homes in the neighborhood and overall, the houses seem fairly large. the average square footage in this neighborhood is 2212 square feet so the homes here are on the larger side. The HOA fee is very reasonable and comes in at $49 a month which is payable quarterly this pays for the amenities such as the community pool basketball and tennis courts. The fee also covers maintenance for the common areas, reserve funds, and security for the Subdivision. As you can see the landscaping is very nice and everything looks well taken care of and now we can start to see those big family homes that I was talking about. the average home sale price in sebastian river landing the last 180 days is 400,000 with the average days on market being 84 days. the lowest property in here in the last 180 days went for 350,000 and the highest sold in here went for 465,000. The north side of Sebastian river landing is phase one and that is where a lot of the two-story bigger homes are as we go across the bridge here we are now entering into phase two which is only single story homes I believe there is only 2 story home in phase two. Gorgeous day out today and one thing that I noticed compared to other subdivisions is that Sebastian river landing is very open there's not a whole lot of very tall trees so you get that nice open air feeling and on a gorgeous day like today it looks really nice. Here is one of the houses that I have sold in the past in this community. That 100 Salazar lane. 4 bed 2 bath home that’s 2700 square feet. Like I said the homes here tend to be on the bigger side. Another reason I say this neighborhood is family oriented is because this is the place to be on Halloween if you're looking for trick or treating. Every year tons and tons of kids come to the subdivision because people go all out for Halloween putting out decorations And handing out candy for the kids. Its really impressive and there are a few people in the neighborhood who go all out for the kids so definitely consider it if you have small kids. In conclusion it's a really wholesome community, the HOA is not super strict where they're going to be getting on your butt about small violations, so it's just overall a really great place to be if you want a nice quiet HOA or have a growing family. Collier Club OK so now let's move on to another bigger subdivision for Sebastian and that is the Collier club. To me this community is a little bit more focused on retirees rather than growing families compared Sebastian River landing. there are much fewer two-story homes in the community, the average square footage is lower around 1800, and the prices are a little higher in the subdivision With the average sale price being around 452,000. there are also a lot more amenities and the clubs that cater to older residents. for example, they have Yoga club, bridge club and other clubs and activities for retirees to enjoy. still a great place to raise a family and there are definitely families in the subdivision but when comparing it to Sebastian river landing Collier club tends to cater more towards retirees rather than growing families. the houses here seem a little bit more upscale focused on quality rather than square footage. actually just had a listing in here cell at 303 swallowtail lane and it was absolutely gorgeous I'll put up some photos. Congrats to my buyers and my sellers on that one, it was a beautiful home. Also When I was doing an open house on that property, all the neighbors came because they love the community and they either want their friend or family to move in the community. Very good sign when the all the neighbors say the love the community. The HOA fee here is reasonable coming in around $81.00 a month. This includes access to the clubhouse the community pool game room, tennis and basketball courts. Another thing I like about the Collier club is that they have tons of sidewalks for walking your pet or just taking a stroll. they also have benches everywhere in case you need to sit down mid walk, or you just want to take in the gorgeous day. In conclusion the Collier club is a great community to live in and is one of the bigger subdivisions in Sebastian. the subdivision is great for retirees who are looking for higher priced and upscale homes. There is plenty of amenities and clubs to keep you busy And the overall atmosphere is very nice and thus with vegetation. Collier club is also a great place to raise a family although you might want to check Sebastian river landing out first. Sebastian highlands OK now let's move on to the biggest neighborhood in Sebastian where most of the homes are, and that is the neighborhood called the Sebastian Highlands. The Sebastian Highlands is a non HOA community that makes up the majority of sebastians residential area. think of it as one big neighborhood where no one is telling you what to do. This comes with its pros and its cons. For the pros you don't have anyone telling you what to do you have no mandatory monthly fees you can build change and paint your house however you would like, and overal gives you more freedom. One big con of living in a non HOA community such as the Sebastian Highlands would be however that everyone can do what they want. if your neighbor wanted to paint their house lime green stay up all night playing music and have six cars in the yard, they can. if they wanted to have four dogs In their backyard all the time and they didn't take care of their property, that is going to adversely affect the value of surrounding properties so you really don't get that conformity that an HOA can provide. with that being said there are definitely parts of the Sebastian Highlands with higher value homes and parts of Sebastian islands with lower value homes. As you can see here there are some very high value homes up to 800,000 most of them being around the 350- $400,000 price range. this is a good part of the neighborhood as far as home values. however just a mile away off Schumann Dr you start to get homes that are dipping into the $200,000 range that are not as valuable or desirable. One of the reasons houses are less valuable on the east side is solely because of the train that runs along US 1. Color reason is that those are typically older homes and as Sebastian expanded outward the houses got progressively newer. The average home sale price here is around $350,000 with the average days on market being around 60 days. one thing i really like about fashion highlands is that it has so many parks within the neighborhood. I mean look at how many parks are on this map right now it's impressive. Smashing Florida is also a fairly safe place to live. There's just not a lot of shenanigans going on and that's why I think it's a great place to raise a family. Check out the crime rates yourself before moving down but overall it's a great family environment. Vero Lake Estates OK moving on to our last and final neighborhood and that is Vero lake estates. technically it's a Vero Beach address however it is right next to Sebastian and a lot of Sebastian residents live there so I'm going to include it in this video. Vero lake estates is another non HOA neighborhood just like Sebastian Highlands but there are a few big differences. First the prices in Vera lake estates are cheaper. The average home price is around 330 which is 20,000 less than Sebastian Highlands. also another big difference that I'm sure you may have noticed already is that they have mostly dirt roads in vero lake estates lake estates. the main roads are paved but almost all of the side roads are sandy dirt roads. Another big difference between Sebastian islands and Vero lake estates is that Vero lake estates has a ton of undeveloped vacant lots of land whereas in Sebastian almost all of it is fully developed and there are not many vacant lots left. you see a lot of new construction in Vero lake estates because of the lots for sale so if you're thinking about getting a brand new home, Building in Vero lake estates is a very cost effective option. A good amount of the vacant lots do have Gopher tortoises on them however and can cost a lot of money to rehome them so make sure to get that checked before buying a lot in Vero lake estates. Just like like Sebastian highlands it's a non HOA community so the same pros that applied for Sebastian Highlands apply for Vero lake estates. You have some areas that are better than others and higher value, and there’s a big difference in home values. It's also very close to I-95 which is very convenient for traveling or a work commute. Ok so now I want to briefly tell you a little bit about why my family ultimately chose Sebastian to call home. so my family and I moved here to Sebastian at the end of 2014 and we moved down from Minnesota, and it was a huge shock to say the least. At first, im going to be honest, I didn’t really like living here and I just wanted to move back to what I knew back in Minnesota. But after months of living here and getting accustomed to the weather and all the outdoor activities this area has to offer, we are now very happy with our decision and we are so glad we took the leap. The reason we chose Sebastian was because it really embraced the boating and outdoor lifestyle that my family and I were accustomed to. It also is a smaller town which is what we like, and no one is in a big rush to get anywhere around here. The weather is so beautiful around here and the atmosphere in Sebastian is so unique and hard to replicate. My family and I are laid back people who love the outdoors. We take full advantage of what Sebastian has to offer weather its setting snow crab traps, fishing the inlet, or taking the boat of to the islands, you will always find our family doing something outdoors, and that is probably the biggest reason why Sebastian was the place we chose to move to. So guys those are my picks for the best places to live in Sebastian FL whether you're a retiree's growing family or looking to my new construction homes there is something for everyone here in Sebastian FL. Sebastian overall is a great town I'm super happy that I moved here eight years ago from Minnesota. it's a huge change but I love living here. the lifestyle is fantastic. tons of things to do outdoors whether it's taking a hike and enjoying nature or taking the boat out and catching some fish there are a ton of activities that get you outside and active. The Indian River is also one of the most biodiverse pastor wearies in all of North America so it's a great place to explore and grow up around. but there you have it those were my four neighborhoods that I would suggest looking into if you're thinking about moving to Sebastian. I would also recommend reaching out to me if you have any questions about moving. I have helped a lot of clients find their perfect home here and relocate just as I did 8 years ago when I moved down. anyways everyone that's it for the video I hope you guys enjoyed if you did please make sure to leave a like and subscribe to the channel for more contact. Well you're in luck because in today's blog I'm going to be going over plenty of options that you have when visiting Vero Beach. I'm going to be going over some iconic resorts that Vero beach has to offer as well as some more affordable options to fit everyone's budget. Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel Now onward to our first hotel that we are going to go over and that's the Kimpton Vero Beach hotel and spa, Rated the 2023 best hotel in Vero beach by us news and world report, the kimpton Vero Beach hotel and spa is an iconic hotel on Florida’s beach side. Located on Ocean Drive and close to all the local amenities, it's in an ideal location to experience all that Vero beach has to offer. Kimpton has an abundance of accommodations and room styes that range from a 1 bed 1 bath that’s 386 square feet, all the way up to a three-bedroom grand oceanfront suite that can host up to eight people and has 2016 square feet. Some of the oceanfront sweets include a kitchen, So if you're looking to do some cooking on vacation you have that option. Kimpton also has handicap accessible rooms and is a pet friendly hotel so if you're looking to travel with a pet friend of yours Kimpton can accommodate that. As far as amenities go, Kimpton does not disappoint. they offer a 24/7 fitness center, free continental breakfasts, a heated oceanfront pool, rentable beach cabanas, and they even supply a yoga mat and Nespresso machine in every room. For the children to cruise around with, they provide micro kickboard scooters and guests also have access to the game room, which features video game consoles, Legos, and board games. Lastly, they provide 2 beach chairs with an umbrella, towels, and a table, along with valet parking. Kimpton has some beach activities you can partake in as well such as kayaking, paddle boarding, or boogie boarding. After a long day of activities, you can relax at kimptons on-site spa called the white orchid, go to social hour which is daily from 5:00 to 6:00 at the on-site bar called Heaton’s, or have dinner at cobalt which is kimptons beachfront restaurant. Prices Pricing for kimpton as well as all the hotels I’m going to go over in this blog, really depends on when you go. Vero Beach has a heavy snowbird population that comes down in the colder months for the beautiful weather here, so you can expect to pay more during the fall and winter months. as you can see in August the cheapest room can range from 2 to $300 a night however if you're trying to book in December, you're probably more likely to pay 7 to $800 per night Overall, Kimpton is a great choice if you want a luxury experience right in the heart of Vero beach and you’re not worried about a budget. It’s quieter than some hotels I’m going to go over, making it perfect for someone looking for relaxation and luxury. It's beach front, loaded with a ton of amenities, and in a great location Making it one of the top hotels to stay at in Vero beach. DRIFTWOOD Now let’s talk about a fun and historic hotel that Vero beach has to offer, and that is the Driftwood Resort! Driftwood Inn and Restaurant, built in 1935 by Waldo Sexton, is a cherished piece of Vero Beach's history. Originally a private beach house known as the "Breezeway," it quickly transformed into a small resort hotel operated by Mrs. Waldo Sexton. To accommodate guests, a restaurant called Waldo's Restaurant was added in 1947. Over the years, the Driftwood complex expanded with additional buildings, including an office, fishing shacks turned guest rooms, and apartment buildings. Waldo Sexton's legacy as an entrepreneur and colorful personality lives on through the charm of Driftwood Inn and Restaurant. Much like Kimpton, The driftwood resort is located on the beach on ocean dr and right next to all the local amenities that Vero has to offer This resort really embodies the history and charm of Vero beach, this is truly old Florida at its best and It is even listed on the national registry of historic places. Walking around you'll see all these different kinds of rooms made from driftwood as well as tons of Knick knacks and oddities that waldo has collected over the years. As far as accommodations, there are around 100 rooms and about 10 room styles. Their rooms represent old Florida and are not modern by any means so don’t be surprised if they look a bit dated. It's also worth noting that they have timeshare options as well as short stay options available. So, they can accommodate you whether you need to stay for a day a week or maybe even a few months. When I called the front desk to get some more information I was greeted by a very friendly and enthusiastic representative named Charlie and he was excited to tell me all about the rich history driftwood has. He assured me that this is one of the best bang for your buck when you want to experience the true old Florida. For pricing, During the summer months you can rent A room for as low as $200 per night and during the winter months you can look to pay more around 300 per night. Now unlike Kimpton, driftwood does not have a laundry list of amenities. It doesn't have free breakfasts however that could be viewed as a good thing as you’ll need to go and experience the great breakfast selections that Vero beach has to offer such as lemon tree or one of my favorites, riococo cafe If you are looking for a more cultural experience and to really discover Vero beaches’ rich culture and history I don't think there's a better place to stay at than driftwood. Driftwood is a place to stay if you really value culture and history over luxury, it one of the best historical hotels to stay in in Vero Beach throughout the years. Costa d'Este right next to driftwood resort lies our next hotel that we are going to cover and that is Costa de este beach resort and spa. “Considered a top ten celebrity owned hotel in the world, Gloria and Emilio Estefan's Costa d'Este is located ocean side in Vero Beach with 94 deluxe guest rooms including four suites. Dine indoors or out with amazing views of the Atlantic at The Wave Kitchen and Bar. Enjoy local ingredients and featured Cuban specialties straight from the Estefan family kitchen cookbook. Cool off in the pool or relax and unwind at the pool bar, break a sweat in the extensive fitness center or loosen up in the luxury spa. Meeting facilities are available for banquets and special events. Property is ADA accessible at all entrances and public spaces, and ADA compliant guest rooms are available,” Fun fact This is where my sister had her wedding. She got married on the beach out front of costa de este and the reception and party was held at costa de este. Everything went exceptionally well, and it was very beautiful venue to have a wedding, birthday, or any other special event at. Costa De Este is located oceanfront so it does have some amenities such as snorkeling and paddle boarding available. You can even paddle board or snorkel to one of the famous sites that Vero Beach has to offer the SS Breconshire, a ship from England that sunk on its voyage from New York to England. This ship ran into the reef in 1894 and slowly began filling with water, eventually sinking right out front of Costa De este. Some amenities that Costa De Este offers include valet parking, a fully equipped fitness center, beachfront lounge chairs, beach cruiser bicycles, and poolside concierge services. It's worth noting that they are pet friendly as well. The resort offers a range of accommodations, including guest rooms, suites, and oceanfront villas. The rooms are well-appointed with modern amenities and feature a coastal-inspired design. As far as pricing goes at Costa De Este, during the summer months you can get a room for as low as $200 per night and in season youre looking at paying around $350-$400 per night. Overall Costa De Este offers a luxurious stay in Vero beach With all the amenities to go with it. I've gone there a few times for drinks with my family and we are always treated well. I know my sister loved it for her wedding and I believe she stayed there for her last anniversary, so it definitely gets our family stamp of approval. Costa de este gives an upbeat vibe in luxurious setting. They have music playing around the pool and overall it feels more lively than the other high end hotel we went over, the kimpton hotel beach and spa. With its upbeat vibe, beach access and long list of amenities costa de este is a very fun hotel to stay or have an event here at in Vero beach. Caribbean court boutique hotel Next on our list is very fun and unique and that is the Caribbean court boutique hotel. The Caribbean Court boutique hotel in Vero Beach Florida, is a charming, lush and colorful establishment with a unique atmosphere. This upscale hotel offers well-appointed rooms and suites with a Caribbean flair, providing a comfortable and unique experience for guests. Much like the last hotels we covered, its located-on ocean Dr and While it not directly located on the beach, the hotel is conveniently situated across the street, allowing guests easy access to the beautiful beaches. Caribbean court is one of the smaller resorts and there's only 18 rooms, so you get a more personable and intimate experience here. So, if you're not a fan of some of the bigger crowds, this may be the hotel you should consider. On site is its renowned restaurant, Maison Martinique, which serves French and Mediterranean cuisine with a tropical twist. And if you're looking to have a little fun at night the Havana Nights Piano Bar offers live music and a delightful selection of drinks. With a lush courtyard and a refreshing pool, guests can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings after a fresh meal, possibly with a cocktail or two. Some of the complementary amenities include bicycles, beach chair,s and umbrellas. this is also a pet friendly establishment as well. Breakfast baskets are delivered to your door each morning. The breakfast basket contains croissants jams and butter fresh fruit hard boiled eggs water and coffee. If you're looking for more out of breakfast, they do have an onsite establishment called the creperie that you can get a full breakfast and lunch at. As for pricing, during the summer months you can snag a room for as low as $175 per night and for the winter months it's closer to $300 per night. This is one of my favorite hotels in Vero Beach because of its uniqueness and price point. For that little bit extra than a normal hotel, you get the unique, lush, and colorful Caribbean flare while also being steps away from the beach, so this is also a top pick when visiting Vero beach. Disney Resort The last hotel I want to talk in depth about before I give you some rapid fire options, is the Disney hotel and resort here in Vero Beach. This hotel offers a completely different experience than the previous hotels we've covered because of its location. The Disney resort in Vero Beach is located off floridas highway A1A in wabasso beach. This is a good 15 minute drive north from the other hotels that we have been covering. The Disney resort is in a non-populated area on the island giving you a very private and secluded feeling when you're staying there. This resort really is for the people who want to disconnect, get away from the hustle and bustle, and just relax on a sandy beach with the top notch service that Disney offers. Much like driftwood this resort offers timeshare as well as short term stays, so a lot of the guests staying here are going to be apart of Disneys Vacation Club aka their timeshare club. When I went there to film I was surprised with how many people were there considering it is the middle of July, So this is a very popular Disney resort. As for amenities there are so many and I will most likely miss a few, but Disney really rolls out the red carpet as far as there activities and amenities go. For the kids of course Disney goes above and beyond to make sure they're accommodated for they have tons of events and activities that they can partake in including a decent sized water slide in the main pool, a game room, and mini golf for them as well. Beachside they have a bunch of activities such as volleyball, archery, tennis and basketball that you can participate in as awell. Another really cool thing Disney does is every other day they host campfires on the beach that you and your loved ones can come, sit by the campfire and roast marshmallows with their complimentary smores kit. This Disney resort has an on site spa, as well as a fitness room. They also have an on site restaurant, bar, and quick market, so you don't have to go far for a nice cold beverage or a bite to eat. Speaking of beverages if you enjoy having a nice cocktail they do offer mixology classes for $50 a person. I recently did a mixology class on my vacation in Mexico and it was really fun and we made a lot of neat drinks so I definitely recommend it. Now if you're familiar with Disney resorts you know that they offer a very premium experience but often at a very premium price point. After talking with the cast member she told me that normally it's hard to find a room because almost all of the guests there are part of the vacation club and available rooms will first go to them. She said if you're persistent you can find rooms that become available and if you do you're going to look to pay as low as 250-300 per night during the spring and summer months and that shoots up to around 450 per night during the fall and winter months. I did watch a few videos where they said there's not a a lot of character interactions and Disney's decorations we're toned down, So you get a different feeling compared to other Disney resorts. This is obviously the go to place to go if you are a big Disney fan like my wife is, and it also makes for a great family friendly environment as well. They have tons of activities for the kids to keep them occupied, so if you can get A room, this is a great option for families or Disney enthusiasts. Now if you want to visit Vero Beach and you want a regular hotel that's a bit cheaper don't worry because there's also hotels that can accommodate that. There's hotels such as the Hampton inn, Best Western, and comfort suites where you can regularly get a room for around $100 a night. While having a nice fancy hotel to stay at is nice, it is not needed to discover and truly experience what Vero beach has to offer. Personally I hate staying at the hotel and I would much rather be out and about enjoying the town and exploring. So to recap we have the kimpton hotel which I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury experience right on the beach with a lot of amenities. We have the driftwood resort which is a great historical and funky hotel that truly represents old Florida and I would recommend people who values the history and culture of florida. Costa de este is a great hotel to stay at if you're looking for a luxury experience right on the beach with an upbeat latin vibe. Caribbean court is perfect for a romantic get away or someone who is looking for a smaller hotel that likes the cheaper price point but still wants to experience the unique and colorful style that Caribbean court has. And lastly the Disney resort which is perfect for families looking for activities and amenities for their kids and for Disney enthusiasts as well. So those are the hotels and resorts that I would most recommend as a local here in Vero beach. Once you stay here you're gonna want to eventually move here, so please feel free to reach out to me Im a realtor and, I would love to find you that perfect home here on florida's Treasure Coast. For now my friends that is all I have for you. I hope this blog was valuable to you, and I will see you on the next one, take care. Spencer.Bailey507@gmail.com507-951-2934
